In August of 2022, when the lessor of Hope for Wildlife’s helicopter could not provide the necessary funding for a required complete overhaul, things looked bleak.
However, the news spread in the Greater Kruger conservation community. Not surprisingly, when the owners of Serondella Lodge heard about this situation, they understood the significance of this conservation crisis for greater Kruger.
They sprung into action and not only purchased a brand new helicopter, they birthed a new company called Hope for Wildlife Rotor, that is a 50/50 partnership.
Serondella is a 5-star luxury boutique safari lodge nestled in the secluded heart of Thorny Bush game reserve. It symbolizes reuniting families, slowing down and deeply connecting with children, parents, friends and self. It also encourages embracing the pace of elephants and experiencing nature in its purest form.
